Hideaway Stables was founded in 2004 to give you and your horse a home away from home. We have a different approach to our farm that gives the horse lover peace of mind and security. Unlike most stables, we open our home to our boarders. On the first Sunday of the month we welcome our new "family" to sit and have a real country breakfast and shoot the breeze. Our home is only a short distance from the barns and our padddocks are our backyard. Your horse is always in view.
 
Our Location
 
Hideaway Stables Is located in the beautiful Jersey Shore section of Monmouth County in Howell bordering Jackson and Lakewood. Enjoy our 11 acres of trails or we are just minutes from horse friendly state parks, there is always a place to ride off on a sunny day. We offer free transportation for you and your horse to the local parks to make the day easier to enjoy. If staying on the farm is more to your liking, our outdoor riding arena has lights for evening exercise and jumps at your disposal to challenge you and your horse. Our new Clearspan inddoor arena is scheduled for completion in late September 2010.

Services and fees
 
We offer a full range of services for you and your horse.
 
Farrier Services: Our farrier visits our farm on the first and third Thursday of each month. 
 
Veterinary Services: Twice a year our Vets arrive to ensure that all our horses are current on their vaccinations. We also have 24 hour emergency assistance if required.
 
Blankets: On chilly and cold days blankets supplied by you are put on to keep your horse toasty warm. Fee - Free
 
Medication: If your horse is in need of medication we will be more than happy to assist and administer medication that you supply when required. Fee - Free
 
Turnout: We all need our exercise and play time. Horses are turned out and supervised weather permitting.

Stall maintenance: Stalls are cleaned 7 days a week.
